Maddy Murray joined the Swans on a semi-professional contract, having featured for the Football Association of Wales Girls’ Academy Under-16s the season prior, netting three goals.

Murray became part of the FAW set-up after impressing with Cardiff Wanderers Under-16s, netting 39 goals in 16 games across all competitions in the 2021-22 campaign.

The 17-year-old has featured both in midfield and defence for the Swans, and has won international honours with Wales Under-19s, making three appearances for the young Dragons having made her debut against Scotland in 2024.
