Charlie Haynes joined Swansea City on a semi-professional deal ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The towering goalkeeper was reunited with first-team manager Jamie Sherwood, having previously worked with Sherwood in the Yeovil side that would secure promotion to the Women’s Super League (WSL).

Haynes joined the club from Keynsham Town Ladies, having been named FA Women’s National League Division One south-west player of the season for the 2023-24 campaign, after helping Keynsham secure the Somerset FA Women’s Senior Cup.

The shot stopper has also experienced success in beach football, representing Great Britain at the 2019 World Beach Games in Doha.
