We're backing Play Safe
Swansea City is lending its full support to Play Safe – a national FA-led campaign to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding in football.
The Football Association (FA) has today launched a version of the Football Leadership Diversity Code tailored for the National League System, Women’s pyramid and grassroots football, aiming to tackle inequality and improve representation of diverse groups across senior leadership positions, wider team operations and coaching roles.
With the new season in full flow, Mumbles Rangers goalkeeper Geraint Davies was invited to Swansea City Training Ground in Fairwood to experience a professional goalkeeping coaching session and get tips on saving energy when playing.
Football in the UK will once again come together to show its support for the Royal British Legion, with players across the country proudly wearing the poppy on their shirts in the lead up to this year’s Remembrance weekend.
