Yan Dhanda doubtful for Millwall game, Byers nearing return
Yan Dhanda is a doubt for Swansea City’s clash with Millwall, after the midfielder came down with a stomach bug.
Dhanda has been among the substitutes for the first three Championship games of the season, but he could miss the meeting with the unbeaten Lions after being laid low for a few days by his illness.
Winger Jordon Garrick is being assessed as he recovers from a groin injury, having made his return to training on Thursday.
George Byers, meanwhile, will again be absent, but the midfielder is edging ever nearer to a return to full training.
“We have nothing in terms of injuries from last weekend or training, apart from Yan Dhanda,” said head coach Steve Cooper.
“Yan has been off sick with a stomach bug, so it is not Covid-19 , but he has been sidelined for a few days and he is a doubt for the game.
“Jordon had his first session back today, so we will see where he is at, while George is progressing with his rehab.
“We hope George will be back on the grass towards the end of the international break, all being well.
“He needs to get through the final stage of his recovery, but we had a meeting about George this week, and everything is on course.”
