'We've got to stay positive'
Brandon Cooper has encouraged Swansea City Under-23s to build on some positive performances when they face Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League 2 on Friday (12pm).
The young Swans are still seeking their first win of the season in the top flight of development football having collected four points from their opening nine games.
However, the under-23s have momentum on their side following a creditable 1-1 draw against reigning champions Arsenal last weekend, as well as their spirited second-half performance against West Ham United the previous week.
And Cooper has urged his team-mates to adopt a positive attitude ahead of the showdown at Hotspur Way Training Centre.
“It’s about keeping our momentum going,” the defender said. “We’ve got to stay positive.
“We need to take the spirit and attitude we had against Arsenal into that game. We need to stick in there and not throw the towel in.
“Hopefully, we can pick up some points and start climbing the league.”
