What's it like? - With West Ham moving to the Olympic Stadium for 2016, there won't be many chances to visit Upton Park again. Up to 2,200 Swans fans are in the lower tier of the Sir Trevor Brooking Stand.
Hotels - Hotels near Upton Park include a Premier Inn, Ibis, Ruskin Hotel and the West Ham United Hotel. London has hotels to suit any budget from hostels to five-star hotels.
Pubs and grub - A good option for away fans is the 'Millers Well' (E6 2JX), a Wetherspoon pub near East Ham tube station and opposite East Ham Town Hall. It's a 20-minute walk to the ground along Barking Road. A pub nearby is the 'Denmark Arms' (E6 1LA). It's a big pub, away friendly and shows live football.
Parking & train/tube - On Saturday matchdays, parking is very restricted with hardly any off-road parking. However, you may find there are less restrictions with it being a Sunday game - just check out the lampposts for signs. The best areas to look for spaces are roads left off Barking Road after you've past the lights at East Ham Town Hall. You can park at Newham University Hospital (E13 8SL). Pay and display is £2 for 3 hours or £4 for 6 hours. The hospital is a 15-minute walk from the ground.
By train/tube: NOTE - West Ham tube station is nowhere near the ground. The nearest tube station is Upton Park, which is on the District line, the Hammersmith line and the City line. The station is a short walk from the ground.
The only option for a train from Swansea is the 8.10am, which arrives at Paddington at noon. Coming back is far more flexible, with trains leaving Paddington at 4.37pm, 5.37pm, 6.37pm and 7.37pm, getting into Swansea at 8.32pm, 9.32pm, 10.32 and 11.31pm. As it's a Sunday, journey time is around four hours.
