'We can feed off Liberty atmosphere'
Carlos Calvalhal believes the Jack Army can be Swansea City’s key ingredient as the Swans look to feed off the Liberty Stadium atmosphere against Arsenal tonight (7.45pm).
The Swans face their third game in eight days as they look to build on last Monday’s 1-0 win over Liverpool, which was followed up by an FA Cup stalemate at Notts County.
Carvalhal admits his side will face one of the best teams in the world when they face the Gunners, but insists the Jack Army have a pivotal role to play as the Swans aim to climb out of the relegation zone.
“The fans made a fantastic contribution against Liverpool to help us achieve the victory,” said Carvalhal.
“We expect very good support at this game because the support they gave us against Liverpool was crucial.
“If it is the same sort of atmosphere I think we will feed off it. Let’s hope we can achieve something.”
