U23s face the Blades in final four
Swansea City Under-23s will face a home tie against Sheffield United in the semi-final of the Premier League Cup in April.
An heroic double penalty save from goalkeeper Steven Benda – one in extra time, the other during a shootout – helped the young Swans continue their title defence with a victory over Brighton last week.
The Blades, who have a category two academy status, finished second in Group E before victories over Derby and Newcastle put them in the hat for the last four of the competition.
The winners will face either Leicester City or Aston Villa in the final in May.
Ties are scheduled to be played from April 27 to 30 with a venue to be confirmed.
