18th December
Swansea City 4 Notts County 0
League Two - Saturday, December 18 2004
The Swans secured a comfortable win over Notts County thanks to a hat-trick from striker Lee Trundle.
Trundle scored from an unstoppable 18-yard free-kick after 42 minutes to give Kenny Jackett's side a 1-0 half-time lead.
In the second-half, Trundle had two early chances but County keeper Saul Deeney saved well to prevent the hosts from extending their lead.
However, Trundle soon doubled the Swans' lead in the 69th minute, before Paul Connor made it three with a header following a Marc Goodfellow corner.
Trundle sealed the win for the Swans as he converted a penalty in the last minute of the match.
