Team news | Swansea City v Northampton Town
Azeem Abdulai makes his first senior start for Swansea City and Joe Allen is named in the starting XI as Swansea City face Northampton Town in the Carabao Cup (7.30pm).
Abdulai made his Championship bow off the bench against Birmingham at the weekend, and he comes into the side as one of five changes from the side that started on Saturday.
Midfielder Allen is among them following his return from injury, while Kyle Naughton, Ollie Cooper and Liam Cullen are also handed starts by head coach Michael Duff.
Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Jerry Yates and Jamie Paterson drop to the bench, while Ben Cabango is not in the matchday squad.
Carl Rushworth continues in goal, with Naughton joining Harry Darling and Nathan Wood in the Swansea defence.
Abdulai and Harrison Ashby occupy the wing-back slots, with Allen and Cooper joining captain Matt Grimes in the middle of the park.
Cullen partners Joel Piroe in attack following a lively cameo from the bench against Birmingham, which saw him set up Yates for the Swansea equaliser.
Young defender Filip Lissah could make his Swansea debut from the bench, as could summer signings Josh Ginnelly and Mykola Kuharevich.
