Team news | Queens Park Rangers v Swansea City
Andre Ayew makes his first Swansea City start in 15 months as one of two changes to Steve Cooper’s starting line-up against QPR.
The Ghanaian performed strongly in substitute appearances against Northampton and Preston and he comes into the starting line-up with Nathan Dyer (hamstring) an injury absentee.
It’s Ayew’s first Swansea start since the 2-1 defeat to Stoke in May 2018, and there is also a change on the other flank as Bersant Celina moves out to the left and George Byers comes into the starting line-up at number 10.
Byers was another man to make an impression off the bench at the weekend, and he comes in for Aldo Kalulu, who is also ruled out by injury.
Freddie Woodman continues in goal with the same back four of Connor Roberts, Mike van der Hoorn, Joe Rodon and former QPR man Jake Bidwell ahead of him.
Captain Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton retain their midfield places with Ayew, Byers and Celina operating as a three ahead of them.
Borja Baston, the two-goal hero of the weekend victory, again leads the line for the Swans.
Jordon Garrick is among the substitutes after his lively appearances against Northampton.
