Tammy feels part of Swans family
Tammy Abraham revealed he already feels part of the Swansea City family after receiving a warm welcome from his new team-mates.
The 19-year-old met up with the squad for the first time on Sunday during the club’s pre-season tour of America.
And despite only having been part of Paul Clement’s squad for a few days, the Chelsea loanee admits he has felt right at home in the Swans set up.
“I think I have settled in with the team very well and feel part of a family already,” said Abraham, who marked his Swans debut with a winning goal against Richmond Kickers on Wednesday night.
“The team have made me feel very welcome and I am happy to be here.”
Abraham will look to build on his fine start to life as a Swan when Clement’s side face North Carolina on Saturday at the Wakemed Stadium.
The striker will look to clock up more game-time after featuring for the last half-hour during the win over Richmond Kickers.
“We must remember, it is still pre-season,” said Abraham. “My aim is to play an hour in the next game against North Carolina and hopefully I can make an impact there and get another goal.”
