Swansea City Women sign midfielder Emily Richards

Swansea City Women have completed the signing of midfielder Emily Richards ahead of the 2024-25 Genero Adran Premier campaign.
Richards, 22, returns to the Swans having spent one season with the side aa a 16-year-old during the 2017-18 season, helping the club win the FAW Women’s Cup.
The midfielder has spent the last two seasons with Gwalia United (formerly Cardiff City Ladies), but her playing time was disrupted due to injury.
Richards also had two seasons with Cardiff Met Women, netting nine goals in her 24 games for the club, as well as helping them to claim the Genero Adran Trophy in 2022.
She joins the Swans on a semi-professional deal and will wear the number 15 for the upcoming campaign.
