Swansea City Women have completed the signing of versatile player Maisie Miller for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Miller joins the Swans from English third-tier side Gwalia United, following defenders Lauren Davies and Caitlin Williams to the club.

The 20-year-old brings international experience to the Swans, having captained Wales Under-19s, while she has also spent time with Brighton & Hove Albion and Durham.

Miller has previous experience of the Genero Adran Premier, having spent the 2020-21 campaign with Port Talbot Ladies.

The Morriston native, who will wear the number seven shirt for the Swans, will offer first-team manager Jamie Sherwood options in a number of positions.

“Maisie is a strong and powerful addition, and will have an impact in terms of the short-term depth of the squad,” said Sherwood.

“We are pleased to welcome Maisie and appreciate Gwalia United’s support in making this move happen.

"Both clubs are committed to keeping top talent in Wales, and this transfer shows how that collaboration can benefit the player and strengthen Welsh football.

“The signing strengthens our desire to shape and evolve our programme for the long-term objectives of the club.

Maisie is a former under-19 international, so she brings elite level experience into our environment.”
