Swansea City Women sign Danielle Broadhurst

Swansea City Women have completed the signing of midfielder Danielle Broadhurst ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Broadhurst, 32, joins the Swans on a semi-professional contract having left Barry Town United Women at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.

The attacking midfielder signs for the club following a trial period across pre-season, having netted twice in friendlies.

Broadhurst joined Barry in January 2024 after 11 years with Cardiff City Women, having helped the Bluebirds to two league titles and four Welsh Women’s Cups.

Her highest scoring season came in her final full campaign with Cardiff City, netting nine goals and providing three assists en route to the Genero Adran Premier title.

Broadhurst has been handed the number seven shirt for the Swans.
