Swansea City Women players to appear at Sheffield Wednesday fan zone
Swansea City's fan zone will be open once again for our upcoming home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday, and supporters will have the opportunity to come and meet member of the club's Women's team as we celebrate their new semi-professional status.
The Swans will host the Owls at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, September 23 (3pm).
Swansea City Women are six-time Welsh champions, and have become a fully-integrated part of the club over the summer, with the aim of continuing to grow and promote the women’s game in Swansea and our wider community.
To mark this important development, the fan zone will be dedicated to celebrating women’s football ahead of Swansea City Women's first home fixture of the season against Barry Town at Llandarcy on Sunday, September 24 (2pm kick-off).
The fan zone will include a Q&A session with members of the Swansea City Women squad, hosted by Gabriella Jukes, along with a range of family-friendly fun with activities from Pure Football, Swansea City AFC Foundation, Buzz Trampoline and Superbowl UK.
The event will also feature live music, courtesy of The Shuffle. Discounted food and drink will be available.
The fan zone - located at the south end of the Swansea.com Stadium - will open at 12.30pm and remain open until 2.30pm. You must have a valid match ticket in order to attend.
Please note that the fan zone will not be open post-match.
