Development Pathway Round-Up Rhian Williams

In our latest women's pathway round-up, Swansea City Women Under-19s climbed to the top of the Genero Adran South table as they continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 5-1 victory over North Cardiff Cosmos.

First-team players Rhian Williams and Jasmine Guymer were named on the bench as they returned from injury, and they helped the development side to a third win in four games.

Grace Rodde gave the Swans the lead after 20 minutes, before Meg Clarke doubled the advantage with her third goal in four games just before the interval.

The hosts would pull a goal back just before the break, Courtney Griffiths halving her side's deficit.

Williams and Guymer were introduced with 30 minutes to go, and it would only take Williams three minutes to make her mark on the game as she found the net to make it 3-1.

A late flurry from the young Swans would put the seal the victory, Sophia Bevan found the target with two minutes to go, before Katie Rowles scored her eighth of the season in the final minute of the 90.
