Development Pathway Round-Up Meg Clarke

In our latest women's pathway round-up, Swansea City Women Under-19s secured a point on the road whilst the under-17s returned to winning ways.

Having had a perfect start to the season, netting 17 goals in their opening two games, the under-19s were looking for three more points away at Aberystwyth.

Ellie Latronico put the Swans in front after just 19 minutes with her first goal of the season, before Summer Evans equalised just a minute later.

Branwen Orchard gave the hosts the lead four minutes into the second half, but Meg Clarke netted her second goal of the season to secure a point for the Swans.

The under-17s, meanwhile, were looking to return to winning ways after two games without a victory, but they suffered an early setback when Graig Villa Dino took the lead after three minutes.

Robyn Preece levelled for the Swans seven minutes later, before Gracie Howard put them in front before the break.

Megan Williams’ first goal of the season would then seal three points and a second win of the campaign.
