Swansea City will face Carmarthen Town in the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
The JD Cymru South outfit are three-time winners of the Welsh League Cup and have played in Europe four times.
The Swans will face them away from home at their Richmond Park base.
Swansea City received a wildcard entry to the competition on Tuesday, with the club competing against Welsh clubs from the JD Cymru Leagues.
This will mark the first time the Swans have featured in the competition, and it will provide valuable exposure to senior football for a number of young players in the club's ranks.
The date, venue, ticketing details and kick-off time will be revealed in due course.
Ties are due to take place over the weekend of July 21.
