Swansea City Under-21s' Premier League Cup Fixtures Confirmed

Swansea City Under-21s have had their fixtures confirmed for this season's Premier League Cup competition.

The Swans have been drawn in Group A and will face Category One sides Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion, plus Category Two side Hull City.

The Swans will start the campaign hosting Hull City, and will close the group stage away at Aston Villa under the lights in February 2024.

Each team will play everyone in their group home and away. The top two teams advance to the knockout stage. 

The competition is in the same format as the Uefa Champions League, with 32 clubs in the main group stage from across Premier League 2 and the Professional Development League.

The Swans age-grade side exited the competition at the group stage last year, finishing in fourth place behind Burnley, Stoke City and Arsenal. 

The Swans won the tournament in 2017 with a 2-0 victory over Reading at the then Liberty Stadium, and finished runners-up a year later after missing out on penalties against Aston Villa.
