Swansea City Under-18s Norwich Premier League South
11th September
Swansea City Under-18s travel to Norwich in the Barclays Premier League South Division on Saturday (11am).
The young Swans head to Colney Training Ground in search of their first points of the season after falling to home defeat to league leaders Reading last weekend while Norwich went down 2-0 against Aston Villa.
Swans striker Liam Edwards returns from injury while goalkeeper Lewis Thomas is also back in the squad after international duty.
"We will be going into the game looking to bounce back from our defeat against Reading last weekend," said coach Chris Llewellyn, who spent seven years playing at Carrow Road.
"For 45 minutes of that match we were very competitive but mistakes cost us in the second-half.
"The team have made progress on the pitch but results have not shown that, but we will continue to work hard to improve and develop moving forward.
"Myself and Eric (Ramsay) have been focusing on our defensive shape and balance to make sure we are more organised against the opposition.
"We have defended well at times in the last two games but any mistakes were punished. If we cut the mistakes out it will give us a platform to push on and get results.
"Norwich have a similar style to us - they will want to impose themselves in attack. They are a solid category one structure and will provide another tough test this Saturday."
SWANS U18 SQUAD FROM: Lewis Thomas, Alex Lang, Ben Jones, Aaron Lewis, Ben Morgan, Daniel Jefferies, Matt Blake, Brandon Cooper, Causso Darame, Mael Davies, Thomas Dyson, Jordan Jones, Liam Edwards, Jack Evans, Keiran Evans, Brandon Griffiths, Sean Hanbury.
