Swansea City Under-18s Chelsea
26th August
A dominating second half display from Chelsea saw Swansea City Under-18s lose 5-0 at Cobham in Premier League South on Saturday.
The young Swans created chances on the counter attack during the opening minutes as Keiran Evans shot narrowly wide at the far post.
At the other end Swansea defended well as goalkeeper Ross Treacy kept out efforts from Blues' attacker Harvey St Clair to keep the score goalless at the break.
Despite good defending in the first half, Chelsea took the lead from the penalty spot three minutes into the restart as Martell Taylor-Crossdale converted from 12 yards.
The hosts doubled their advantage four minutes later as St Clair scored from Jacob Maddox's pass with a composed finish.
Chelsea added a third and fourth in quick succession as Taylor-Crossdale netted his second before midfielder Luke McCormick's strike.
Substitute Charlie Brown netted the Blues' fifth deep into stoppage time to round off a disappointing result for the young Swans.
