Swansea City Under-18s Brighton Premier League South
16th August
Swansea City Under-18s suffered a six goal defeat away to Brighton in the Barclays U18s Premier League on Saturday.
Frontman Liam Edwards alongside wingers Causso Darame and Brandon Griffiths all had chances in front of goal in the first half.
But it was the home side who broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark with a good strike from the edge of the area that beat Lewis Thomas in the Swans goal.
The Seagulls doubled their lead on the stroke of half-time with the home side continuing to pressurise the Swans back four after the restart.
The seagulls struck four more times in the second half, Brighton's frontman converting a penalty to complete his hat-trick before scoring a fourth.
