Proudly supporting Show Racism the Red Card

Saturday’s home match against Millwall will be Swansea City’s dedicated 'Show Racism the Red Card' fixture.

To mark our ongoing support for the charity’s vital anti-racism work across Swansea and Wales, players will wear 'Show Racism the Red Card' t-shirts during warm-up.

'Show Racism the Red Card' is a charity that aims to combat racism by empowering role models, including footballers, to present an anti-racist message to young people and others.

They achieve this through:

  • Producing and delivering educational resources
  • Developing activities to encourage people, including young people, to challenge racism
  • Challenging racism in the game of football and other sports.

Earlier this week, Swansea City AFC Foundation welcomed project leaders from the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity to put on a session at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The educational work of 'Show Racism the Red Card' is invaluable in trying to create a more diverse and welcoming future for everyone, and you can support their efforts on Saturday by donating to the volunteer bucket collectors who will be positioned throughout the stadium.
