Five Swansea City senior players represented their countries during the international break.

Jamal Lowe helped Jamaica to their highest finish in the CONCACAF Nations Leaguewhile defender Nathan Wood featured for England Under-21s in their Euro 2025 qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg.

Liam Cullen was part of the Wales squad for the Euro 2024 play-offs, and there were minutes for Mykola Kuharevich and Nathan Tjoe-A-On in friendlies for Ukraine Under-23s and Indonesia respectively.

Defender Wood started in the Young Lions 5-1 victory against Azerbaijan in Baku, playing a full 90 minutes. He didn’t feature in the 7-0 demolition of Luxembourg at the Toughsheet Community Stadium a few days later.

England sit in second place in Group F behind leaders Ukraine, who beat Lee Carsley’s side earlier in the campaign.

Cullen suffered penalty shootout heartbreak with Wales. He was named on the bench for Wales’ superb showing against Finland which set-up a play-off final against Poland at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Swans’ striker was also on the bench in that fixture as Rob Page’s side eventually missed out on a place in Germany, losing 5-4 on penalties.

Lowe was part of the Jamaican side during their CONCACAF Nations League finals campaign. He started in the semi-final against eventual tournament winners USA in Dallas, losing out in gut-wrenching fashion. Having taken the lead in the first minute, the Reggae Boyz conceded a 96th minute own goal, taking the tie to extra-time where they eventually lost 3-1.

Lowe was part of the squad for their third-place play-off match against Panama but did not feature in the victory.

Kuharevich joined up with Ukraine’s Olympic Team training camp in preparation for Paris 2024.

The Swans frontman started in their friendly against Japan Under-23s playing 70 minutes in a 2-0 defeat.

Tjoe-A-On, meanwhile, was called up for Indonesia for the first time ahead of a 2026 World Cup qualification double-header against Vietnam. He became a citizen of the country before making his debut in the home match a few days later.

The defender - who is currently on loan at SC Heerenveen - started in their 1-0 home win before being substituted at half-time, and played more than 70 minutes in the 3-0 away victory.
