Swansea City proud to back 'Everyone deserves a Christmas' campaign
Swansea City was proud to be involved in the ‘Everyone Deserves a Christmas’ campaign, which helped deliver over 1,000 hampers to families who are struggling during this festive period.
The initiative saw local MP Carolyn Harris, Mecca Bingo, the Swans, the club’s Community Trust and the Ospreys come together, with the hampers being delivered around the city and surrounding area earlier this week.
Club ambassador Lee Trundle, head of commercial Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, and the Swans’ commercial team all participated in the campaign, as did club sponsors Low Cost Vans, Swansea Building Society, Peter Lynn & Partners, Janela Blinds, DWJ Wealth Management, SOFit Group and Infinity Printers.
“As a club we are proud to represent our community, and we felt it was important for us to do what we can to help those in need in the local area,” said Edwards-Symmons.
“We want to help give people the Christmas they deserve at the end of a year that has posed so many unprecedented challenges.
“We were keen to help Carolyn Harris MP by backing what is such a vital campaign, and we appreciated our local sponsors and partners mirroring that commitment.”
