Eder made it five goals in eight games for Lille as they beat Monaco 4-1 on Sunday.
The Portuguese international doubled Lille's advantage after both sides had been reduced to ten men.
Eder's goal helped Lille close the gap on Monaco, who are joint second, to six points with five games remaining as they continue their late bid for a Champions League spot.
In the Championship, Matt Grimes started in Blackburn's 0-0 draw at Wolves.
The England Under-21 midfielder made his tenth appearance for Blackburn before being replaced with 25 minutes remaining.
In League Two, Daniel Alfei played the full 90 minutes as Mansfield moved to within six points of a play-off spot following a 2-1 win at Carlisle.
That was the 24-year-old's 11th appearance for Mansfield, who take on Notts County this weekend.
Connor Roberts and Liam Shephard both started for Yeovil in their 2-0 home defeat to Exeter City.
Darren Way's side need just one victory from their remaining five games to assure themselves of League Two football next season.
But Roberts, who made his 49th appearance of the campaign, and Shephard - who was replaced after 76 minutes - could face Swans Under-21s team-mate Oliver McBurnie on Saturday when the Glovers visit Bristol Rovers.
In the Scottish Championship, Alex Samuel helped Morton retain fifth place following a 2-1 win over Livingston.
Samuel made his ninth start in 27 appearances for Morton, with the 20-year-old being replaced with five minutes left as the home side held on for victory.
Meanwhile, Nathan Dyer and Gerhard Tremmel were unused substitutes for Leicester City and Werder Bremen while Franck Tabanou and Oliver McBurnie were not included in the matchday squads for St Etienne and Bristol Rovers.
