Swansea City Ladies' league opener to be shown live on S4C

Swansea City Ladies’ opening match of their Genaro Adran Premier title defence will be shown live on S4C on Sunday, September 5.

The Swans – fresh from their excellent efforts in the Champions League – will travel to take on Cardiff Met on the first weekend of the new domestic season.

The Cyncoed Stadium clash sees the top two teams from last season lock horns, with kick-off at 4.15pm.

S4C’s coverage will start at 4.10pm, following the conclusion of Wales’ World Cup qualifier against Belarus and will be hosted by Sioned Dafydd, while SwansTV Live host Gabriella Jules will provide touchline updates.

Kath Morgan and Mike Davies will provide commentary, while English language commentary will be available on the red button.

In addition, Sgorio will be launching a new video podcast solely focusing on women’s Football, co-hosted by Sioned Dafydd and Gwennan Harries.
