9th March
A 2-1 defeat against Cardiff Metropolitan Ladies ended Swansea City's unbeaten run in Welsh Premier Women's League on Sunday.
Cardiff Met took the lead in the first minute as they took full advantage from a corner.
Swansea saw a chance from Jodie Passmore cleared off the line before Cardiff doubled their lead after eight minutes with a chipped shot that beat keeper Ffion Ashman.
The Swans created several chances but failed to convert them, including a powerful effort from Passmore.
The visitors started the second half well and pulled a goal back through Sophie Hancocks within a minute of the restart.
Sarah Adams could have equalised minutes later only for her effort to hit the woodwork before Cardiff saw a corner skim the crossbar.
Ian Owen's side created a number of chances in the closing minutes only for a goal from Katy Hosford to be disallowed before Passmore saw her effort cleared off the line by Cardiff's keeper.
It proved enough for the hosts to take victory in a closely-fought encounter.
