Swansea City join with Accessoloo to host fully accessible toilet facility at Burnley match

Swansea City will be hosting an Accessoloo – a fully accessible toilet facility for supporters and visitors who require the services typically available in a Changing Places Toilet – at Saturday’s match against Burnley (March 15).
The match will be the Swans’ dedicated Level Playing Field’s Unite for Access game, which will celebrate the work of Swansea City Disabled Supporters' Association, as well as highlighting some of the ways they’ve helped make watching Swansea City as accessible as possible.
As part of this dedicated matchday, the club has joined with one of the UK’s leading providers of mobile Changing Places Toilet solutions to provide the fully wheelchair accessible mobile unit, which will be located outside the South Stand and can be used by home and away supporters, as well as hospitality guests.
Inside the Accessoloo, users will find a ceiling track hoist system for safe transfer to a full-sized, height-adjustable, adult changing bench and a peninsular toilet.
A height-adjustable wash basin provides hot and cold running water and a shower is available if required.
The unit is also stocked with essential consumables including wipes, paper towels and antibacterial cleaning products to help provide a clean and hygienic environment for our users and any carers assisting and attending to personal care needs.
In line with the Changing Places Toilets’ policy, Accessoloo’s service is available for use by anyone for whom a regular toilet or standard accessible toilet does not meet their needs.
This typically includes wheelchair users, those with other mobility needs, visual impairments, Chron’s or colitis, stoma users and those with any complex health needs or disabilities who require a private space with additional room for carer assistance.
The unit will be staffed to provide assistance with the safe operation of the wheelchair lift, and to keep the facility clean between users.
Any supporters who wish to use the facility once they have entered the stadium should speak to a steward to be allowed to exit and enter the facility.
