Swansea City introduce reusable cups to concourses
Swansea City would like to remind supporters about the introduction of reusable cups in the concourses, starting with Easter Monday's fixture against Queens Park Rangers.
This change has been implemented based on feedback from the Jack Army, replacing the paper cups that have been previously used in the concourses.
Supporters who purchase selected drinks (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer) will receive a reusable cup. We ask supporters to enjoy their drink and, when finished, to return their cup to one of our purple bins shown in the image below.
After the game the cups will be collected by Event Cup Solutions, who will put the cups through a specialist wash and drying process to prepare them for use at our next home fixture.
This initiative will be in operation for the clash against Queens Park Rangers and will remain in place for the remainder this campaign, and into the 2024-25 season.
As mentioned, this change has come directly based on supporter feedback and will also enable the club to reduce its carbon footprint further as it seeks to improve sustainability across all sites.
We would like to thank the Jack Army for their full support on this new initiative.
Alcohol-free beer
The club is also pleased to launch alcohol-free beer in our concourses from today's game. Cobra Zero will be available to purchase and will also be served in our reusable cups.
Please note that alcohol free beer is not permitted in the stadium bowl area and must be enjoyed in the concourse area.
