Swansea City to host young carer consultation event

Swansea City is hosting a consultation evening on Thursday March 7 to discuss, challenge and change its existing personal assistants’ (PA) policy, with a focus on the inclusion of young carers.

The event will take place at the Swansea.com Stadium between 5pm and 6.30pm, and will provide young carers with a platform to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the club’s PA policy.

Swansea City’s current PA policy does not include a provision for young carers, and the club has identified the importance of addressing this issue in order to recognise the incredible work of young carers in our community.

We need your help!

If you are a young carer, have experience of being a young carer, or have an interest or expertise in this area, the club would love to hear from you.

Swans supporters and all in the community who feel they can contribute and assist in this area are welcome to attend. All you need to do is register your attendance below.
