Swansea City hope for good news on Steven Benda injury
Swansea City will wait to discover the seriousness of Steven Benda’s knee injury after the goalkeeper was forced off at Queens Park Rangers.
The German had to leave the field in the second half after appearing to land awkwardly after attempting to keep out a Jamal Lowe shot that struck the crossbar.
He tried to play on, but was eventually replaced by Andy Fisher as the Swans came from a goal down to secure a point.
"I hope he's okay, they're assessing him now,” said head coach Russell Martin.
"It doesn't look brilliant, but we will wait and see. We'll just have to get him scanned as quickly as possible and see how he is.
"Stevie tried to play on which probably hasn't helped it. But he's been brilliant for us.
"I hope for him and us that it's positive news.”
