Swansea City Foundation launch 2024 'Give a Jack a Jacket' campaign
Swansea City Foundation’s ‘Give a Jack a Jacket’ campaign is returning this winter to support those in need of warm layers, which will be distributed to a number of charitable organisations across Swansea as part of the Premier League Fans' Fund project.
Originally launched back in 2016, the scheme aims to provide the homeless and those in need of warm layers of clothing to help them fight the chill at this time of year.
As part of the initiative, the Foundation will donate a number of club coats and jackets, and we are calling on supporters to join the effort with any donations of their own they would like to make.
The programme will launch on November 20 at the Swansea.com Stadium, with the Foundation and club ambassador Lee Trundle on hand to collect coats and jackets, with a permanent donation location in the club shop and reception.
In addition, there will be a collection of coats and jackets in the club shop ahead of Swansea City’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Portsmouth on November 30 at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, over 2,500 donations were previously handed out to those in need, and the Foundation is once again hoping to help people facing difficulties this winter.
