Swansea City fixtures moved due to live television coverage
Seven of Swansea City’s Championship fixtures have been moved due to live television coverage by Sky Sports.
Under the terms of the new broadcast rights agreement – which comes into effect from the start of the 2024-25 season – the fixture schedule from the start of the season until the weekend of the third round of the FA Cup has now been confirmed.
As part of that confirmation, games against Oxford United, Watford, Leeds United, Derby County, Hull City and West Bromwich Albion have all moved as they have been selected for live broadcast.
Additionally our fixture at Burnley has been moved as a knock-on effect of the Clarets facing West Brom on the preceding Thursday.
The away game at Oxford moves to the earlier kick-off time of 12.30pm on Saturday, November 2, while the following home fixture against Watford moves to the later time of 8pm on Tuesday, November 5.
Meanwhile, the clash with Burnley at Turf Moor has shifted from 3pm on Saturday November 9 to 3pm on Sunday November 10.
The home meeting with Leeds United has been moved back 24 hours to 3pm on Sunday, November 24, while the visit to Pride Park to face Derby switches to an 8pm start time on Wednesday, November 27.
The away game at Hull will start at the earlier time of 12.30pm on Saturday December 21, as will the Swansea.com Stadium clash with the Baggies on Saturday, January 4.
Home meetings with Cardiff City and Bristol City had been selected for live television coverage in Sky’s initial picks for the new campaign.
