Swansea City family fun day and open training session | Key timings and information
Swansea City is hosting a family fun day and open training session on Tuesday (August 22) and we have put together this handy guide to help you plan your day.
Turnstiles will open at 10am at the Swansea.com Stadium.
The first team will be training on the stadium pitch from 10.15am, while there will also be opportunities for fans to meet their Swansea City heroes after the session has concluded.
Away from the training session, supporters can enjoy the Studts Funfair, Pure Football penalty shootout, and the Superbowl UK alley, among other activities.
TIMETABLE
Please note that all times are approximate.
9.30am
Club shop opens. The store will remain open until 5.30pm.
10am
Turnstiles open. There will be free posters handed out to young supporters on entry.
Posters will be limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
10.15am
Open training session begins.
11.45am
Open training session ends.
Once training is completed, the players will be coming across to the stands to sign autographs and pose for photos with supporters.
The players will begin in the south-west corner of the stadium, and will work their way along the line to the tunnel.
12pm
The fun park – located in the west car park – opens with the following activities:
Studts Funfair
Pure Football Penalty shootout
Superbowl UK bowling alley
Swansea City AFC Foundation skills challenge
Facepainting with Maggie’s
All activities in the fun park will be free of charge on production of a ticket.
MAIN STAGE TIMINGS

A selection of first-team players will be in the club shop to sign autographs for supporters.

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS
Food and beverages will be available in the kiosks during the open training session.
Further catering outlets will be available in the fun park, including an ice cream van and Carling marquee.
GETTING TO SA1 AND PARKING
There are 400 parking spaces available for use in the north car park, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note this car park can only be accessed via the ramp off the A4067. Cars will not be able to access parking via the usual stadium entrance off Brunel Way.
Once capacity has been reached, there will be no further on site parking provision.
