Swansea City’s Championship match against Derby County on Saturday April 5 is dedicated to the club’s charitable organisation Swansea City AFC Foundation. Here’s what to look out for and how you can support on the day.

The Foundation will have an enhanced presence in the South Stand’s family zone, with an information station where fans can speak to Foundation employees to find out more about the various programmes they deliver across Swansea and surrounding areas.

This will be in addition to the regular, fun activities which the Foundation host in the South Stand prior to every Swans home fixture.

Swansea City AFC Foundation relies heavily on the generosity of the general public to help fund their life-changing work within our community. The Foundation encourages supporters to bring a pound to the ground, where staff will be situated around the Swansea.com Stadium to collect donations.

Funds raised will support the Foundation and Street Child United to send a team of local, young people to the United States of America to represent Swansea and Wales in the Street Child World Cup in 2026.

Jay Rosa, a talented football freestyler, is on a mission to perform at every football league stadium in the country in support of Mental Health UK and will be at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday.

The Foundation will be crowning their community heroes prior to kick-off with a pitchside presentation, to recognise the contributions and efforts of the winners to community programmes.

Players will be supporting the Foundation by wearing Swans Foundation warm-up t-shirts and will be welcomed onto the pitch through the guard of honour by Llandeilo AFC, who took part in the Foundation’s grassroots soccer camps last summer.

Participants from across the Foundation’s projects have been gifted tickets to the match, including a number of past and present FIT Jacks participants who will be completing a health and wellbeing walk from the Vetch Field to the Swansea.com Stadium.

For more information, keep an eye on the Foundation’s social media channels in the build-up and on the day of the game. Find them @swansfdn on X, Facebook and Instagram.
