Swansea City is delighted to continue its partnership with The Boot Room throughout the 2022-23 season.

The Boot Room was launched in 2019 by Swans fan Carl Bradley, with the aim of providing football boots for children whose families were unable to afford to kit out their young footballers.

Looking to ensure that young people in the community are not prevented from participating in the game they love simply due to a lack of equipment. Swansea City - and a number of local businesses - have backed the scheme by acting as drop off points for donated boots.

The initiative to help children and young adults in Swansea and the surrounding community has been expanded now includes The Kit Room.

The Kit Room, launched in August 2020, runs alongside The Boot Room and works to provide sports clothing and equipment.

There is a drop off point at the Swansea.com Stadium club shop for supporters to donate any unwanted football boots and kit which are in good condition. All sizes are welcome for children and young adults.

Carl said: "I’d like to thank the great team at Swansea City AFC for their continued support for our project.

"Four years into The Boot Room, we are looking at a bright future with the club as we continue a fantastic partnership."

Swansea City chief executive Julian Winter added: "We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with The Boot Room for another year.

"This is a project which has already helped countless children access the equipment they need to play football and Carl and his team are well-deserving of all the accolades they have received over the past 12-months.

"We are really pleased that the club shop will continue to act as a drop off point for both boots and sports clothing and we would like to thank all the supporters who have donated, and continue to donate, to the project."
