Swansea City complete signing of Žan Vipotnik
Swansea City has completed the signing of Žan Vipotnik, subject to visa approval and international clearance.
The 22-year-old Slovenian forward becomes Swansea’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window and has put pen to paper on a four-year contract through to the summer of 2028.
Vipotnik makes the move to south Wales following the mutual termination of his contract with French club Bordeaux.
The striker bolsters head coach Luke Williams’ options in the final third, and will provide competition for Wales international Liam Cullen.
Vipotnik is set to travel to Wales next week to link up with his new teammates ahead of the Championship opener against Middlesbrough.
Vipotnik, who featured for his country at the Euro 2024 finals, started his career in his homeland with Maribor, having loan spells with Gorica and Triglav Kranj.
He made the move to Bordeaux in the summer of 2023, and scored 10 goals in 37 league appearances.
