Swansea City and Swansea University extend multi-year partnership
Swansea City is delighted to announce a multi-year extension to its partnership with Swansea University.
The agreement, which will run until at least the summer of 2026, will see the university continue to sponsor the West Stand of the Swansea.com Stadium, with supplementary advertising and experiential rights.
The partnership contains a range of further strategic benefits, with the club and university to continue to work on several joint projects, capitalising on each other’s expertise to drive innovation and progress to create a lasting positive legacy, for both organisations, and the city and community of Swansea.
“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Swansea University, with our relationship set to continue for the next few seasons,” said Swansea City’s head of commercial, Richard Morris.
“The university continues to teach and inspire the next generation, and we are delighted to collaborate with them across a broad range of projects for mutual benefit.
“Swansea City understands the importance of education and the value in partnering with one of the city’s largest employers, with whom we have a number of shared values and objectives.’’
Niamh Lamond, Swansea University’s registrar and chief operating officer, added: “We are very pleased to have extended this partnership with Swansea City, building on our successful relationship with the club over a number of years.
“We would like to thank everyone at Swansea City for their continued support and wish the Swans the best of luck during the 2023-24 season.”
