Swansea City AFC Foundation announce Cwtch Coffee Mornings
Swansea City AFC Foundation are excited to announce the launch of Cwtch Coffee Mornings, a weekly coffee social drop session held at the Swansea.com Stadium, which will begin on November 15.
The drop-ins will take place every Tuesday between 9.30am and 11am at the Swansea.com Stadium in the Cwtch - located off the main reception - and will give people the opportunity to socialise and enjoy a hot drink.
There will be guest speakers at the coffee mornings as well as a chance to see behind the scenes on a stadium tour. There will also be opportunities to win match tickets and Swans merchandise.
Caroline Gwilym, Swansea City AFC Foundation health and wellbeing officer, said: “The launch of the Cwtch Coffee Mornings is part of our drive to promote and support good emotional health and wellbeing of adults in our community by bringing people together, encouraging connection and social inclusion.
“By offering this regular, free and inclusive opportunity, we hope to help tackle loneliness and social isolation people may be living through at this time.
“Connections are the cornerstones of life and building these will support and enrich people's lives and we want to encourage and enable this.”
The first session will take place on November 15 and you can register your interest via the link below.
In addition to the coffee mornings, there will be further provision to help promote wellbeing and tackle isolation across the city which will begin in the New Year. These drop-in sessions will focus on wellbeing, managing stress, mindfulness, and self-care and further details will be released in due course.
