Swansea City AFC Foundation and Cardiff City Foundation link up for half term Premier League Kicks tournament
Swansea City AFC Foundation’s Premier League Kicks participants had the opportunity to represent the Swans as they faced off against Cardiff City Foundation’s Premier League Kicks participants.
Twenty three participants from across the Foundation’s projects faced off in matches against Cardiff City Foundation participants who travelled to Morriston Leisure Centre.
In addition to the tournament, participants received a workshop from South Wales Police about firework safety ahead of bonfire night.
Richard Harris, Premier League Kicks coach, said: “It was great to give our participants the chance to represent Swansea City, they all enjoyed the chance to pull on the kit and have their own little south Wales Derby.
“It’s always good to work with Cardiff City Foundation, we have a great relationship with them, and it really helps us give our participants amazing opportunities.
“We are also really grateful to South Wales Police for delivering a workshop on firework safety, it’s really important to remind young people to be safe around this time of year.”
