Swansea City Academy compete in international tournament
Swansea City academy recently sent a talented young squad to the Greenport Under-14 International in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Swansea City are the first Welsh club to enter the tournament, renowned as one of the best in Europe for youth development.
The young Swans played against big names such as Chelsea, Dortmund and PSV Eindhoven.
"The weekend showed us what top elite under-14 players and teams look like on the continent and in the USA," said head of academy coaching Liam McGarry.
"The players and parents represented the club and the city so well throughout the weekend. Whilst the football is serious, it was still amazing to spend time and get to know better a brilliant bunch of boys and their parents.
"The feedback has been super positive and many of the boys have said it is the best weekend of their youth academy experience so far."
