Swans youngster Cullen scores as Wales claim Victory Shield
21st November
Swansea City midfielder Liam Cullen scored to help Wales to their first outright Victory Shield win for 66 years.
The 15-year-old academy product helped Wales to a 2-0 win over Northern Ireland at Ballymena Showground on Thursday night with West Brom youngster Tyler Roberts getting the first goal.
The win saw the nation take their third win in the competition, after victories over England and Scotland earlier this month, to lift the trophy unbeaten.
Swansea players Dan Jefferies and Keiran Evans also featured for Wales with Joe Lewis being part of the squad in earlier rounds of the competition.
Cullen, who attends Cwmtawe Community School in Pontardawe, also scored both goals in Wales 2-1 win over Scotland a fortnight ago.
