Swansea City must wait to discover the extent of the injury suffered by Luciano Narsingh during their 1-1 draw with Everton.
The Dutch wideman was handed his first Premier League start under Carlos Carvalhal as the Swans went in search of victory against the Blues.
Narsingh responded by producing some bright moments as he played in an unfamiliar right-wingback role.
But he limped off at half-time having picked up an ankle injury which will now be assessed ahead of next weekend’s trip to Manchester City.
“Luciano twisted his ankle,” Carvalhal said.
“It doesn’t look too serious, but we must wait 48 hours and then we will see exactly what was happened.”
Sam Clucas missed the Everton game with a knee injury, but the Swans hope he will be back in contention at the Etihad Stadium.
