Swans support Responsible Gambling Week

Swansea City will wear a new front of shirt logo during Saturday’s game with Rotherham United to promote Responsible Gambling Week.

The Swans and Bet UK – the club’s shirt sponsors and principle betting partner – have thrown their support behind the industry-wide campaign, held between November 1-7, to trigger a national conversation about what it means to gamble responsibly.

Bet UK have agreed to replace their front of shirt logo with the Responsible Gambling Week logo as Graham Potter’s side take on the Millers.

UK will then auction off the special edition shirts with all the proceeds going to the Gordon Moody Association, which a unique and intensive residential treatment programme in the UK for addicted gamblers.

A Swansea City spokesman said: “We, alongside Bet UK, are delighted to support Responsible Gambling Week by wearing a new logo on our shirts for Saturday’s Championship clash at Rotherham United.

“We take responsible gambling very seriously at Swansea City, and the message of Responsible Gambling Week is one we are very keen to share with our loyal supporters.”
