Swans suffer Montero blow

Swansea City have suffered an injury blow after Jefferson Montero was ruled out for between four and six weeks.

The winger has produced some sparkling cameo performances in the early stages of the new Championship season.

But he is facing a spell on the sidelines after picking up a thigh injury in training this week.

Montero turned the game in the Swans’ favour after coming off the bench in the win at Millwall last time out.

And it was a similar story when he arrived as a substitute at Sheffield United on the opening day of the season.
