Swans stars set to face off at World Cup
Martin Olsson and Kristoffer Nordfeldt are set to face Ki Sung-Yueng at next summer’s World Cup in Russia after Sweden were drawn in the same group as South Korea.
The Swansea City trio will also face World Cup holders Germany and Mexico in Group F.
Jakob Johansson’s goal helped Sweden qualify for the 2018 tournament by beating Italy in a play-off last month, while South Korea automatically progressed after finishing second in their qualifying group.
Elsewhere, Renato Sanches could feature in a mouthwatering contest as Portugal face Spain in their opening match with Morocco and Iran also in Group B.
Lukasz Fabianski’s Poland were drawn in Group H alongside Senegal, Colombia and Japan.
Tammy Abraham featured twice for England in their recent international friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
Should the striker be selected by Gareth Southgate for next summer’s tournament, he will face Belgium, Panama and Tunisia in Group G.
