Swansea City is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with leading energy consultant, The Energy Check.

The first two-fold agreement for the club and stadium will not only see the energy consultant grasp the title of ‘Official Energy Consultancy Partner of Swansea City AFC’ but also the ‘Official South Stand Partner of the Liberty Stadium’ (to be known as) the ‘Energy Check Family Stand’.

As part of the arrangement the regional partner will provide both the club and stadium with reduced energy and gas costs.

As trusted experts in utility price comparison for over four years, the Energy Check team provides fast and friendly advice alongside simplified bill breakdowns to both domestic and business customers throughout the UK. As a nationwide supplier they will be a great asset as a unique dual partner to boost Swansea City  heading into the 2018/19 Championship season.

Mark Davies, Global Head of Partnerships and Sales, said: “We are delighted to secure The Energy Check’s exclusivity and to welcome the team on-board as the ‘Official Energy Consultancy Partner’.

“Not only does this partnership show our commitment to manage the stadium proactively, but backs up the importance of the club managing its stadium. Simply put we would never have been able to complete a partnership like this a year ago, and we hope will be the first of many partnerships of this kind for the Swans.’’

The club and stadium aren’t the only winners here, as specialists in the home and business utility industry The Energy Check have extended an open offer to fans to provide free, impartial expertise alongside competitive utility price comparisons for their homes.

Corporate Partnerships Manager, Robyn Winton, said: “We are thrilled to have agreed a partnership with Swansea City and I’m extremely excited about what the future holds for us working together.

“Not only is this partnership going to assist The Energy Check with its plans to increase brand awareness throughout Wales, but we are also going to be working extremely hard with Swansea City to reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions.

“I’m confident that with our involvement we can save the club a lot of money moving forward, and we are really eager to get started with the programme.”
