Swans pair promote learning languages at Bishop Gore
Aldo Kalulu and Marc Guehi were back in the classroom helping promote the importance of learning languages at Bishop Gore School.
Taking part in a question and answer session in both French and English, the Swans duo helped inspire local pupils looking to widen their knowledge and vocabulary.
Organised to educate pupils about the importance of speaking another language before they choose their GCSE subjects, the afternoon saw the pair talk about how speaking French and English has helped them in their careers.
The duo were asked questions about life as footballers, their hobbies and their football idols.
“It is very useful to speak another language in football as it can be very difficult to communicate with your team-mates,” said Kalulu.
“Being able to speak English when I came to Swansea made the transition a lot easier, so it is a huge help.
“It was great to see some of the pupils interested in furthering their studies of French and Spanish and I hope we managed to inspire them.”
